A system that signals the distance from an obstacle provides welcome help, especially when navigating through tight spaces. The distance from the obstacle is gauged by ultrasound sensors in the rear bumper. The driver is then alerted not only by an acoustic signal, but also visually on the display of the Swing radio. The interval between the sound signals shortens as the distance from the obstacle decreases. At about 30cm, it changes to the continuous tone. Rear parking sensors are included in the optional Image pack for Rapid.

Hill Hold Control
The Hill Hold Control (HHC) allows for easy hill starts without the risk of unwanted backward roll or need to use of the handbrake. It is activated automatically when the hill gradient is more than 5%, both when driving forward or in reverse. When the driver releases the brake pedal after stopping on a hill, the HHC keeps the pressure in the brake system for 1 or 2 seconds. In this interval, you can set off easily without rolling.
