With its intelligent all wheel drive, the Yeti 4x4 Outdoor is equipped for all conditions. A finely tuned drivetrain with a 5th-generation Haldex clutch deals with even the slightest change under Yeti 4x4 Outdoor's wheels within milliseconds. Under normal conditions, the Yeti 4x4 Outdoor is like regular front-wheeler. In snow or mud it turns into a 4x4 without you noticing it. The Off-­road pack features a dashboard-­mounted Off‐Road button and the Yeti 4x4 Outdoor switches specific assistance systems to a special off-road setting.
Once engaged, the accelerator responds more sensitively when pulling away on loose surfaces, while the Auto Hold feature helps the vehicle out in tricky situations. The Hill Descent Control uses sensitive braking to maintain a constant speed descending steep slopes, regardless of whether the vehicle is in any of the gears from one to three, reverse, or neutral.

Recognised by ANCAP with the award of five stars, the Yeti sets the standard for safety.

The Yeti is equipped with a rear-view camera which monitors the space behind the car and indicates the driving lines, based on the vehicle width for safe and easy parking. Furthermore, seven airbags protect passengers in the front and rear seats and the Yeti uses bi-xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights and curve lighting (included in the Tech Pack). These are better at illuminating bends and help the driver to detect hazards more quickly.

The drive assists (Electronic Stability Control - ESC, Anti-lock Braking System – ABS, Electronic Brake-pressure Distribution - EBD, Anti-Slip Regulation - ASR and Electronic Differential Lock - EDL) improve the handling of the vehicle in extreme situations. The brake lights flash during heavy braking and the warning lights are then automatically deployed, providing an urgent warning to the car behind and reducing the risk of rear impact.​

The Yeti 4x4 Outdoor, like any true off-road vehicle, has a rugged look and exudes both strength and agility. ŠKODA’s evolving design ethos is reflected in the front of the Yeti, dominated by the angular headlights and the fog lamps in the corners of the bumper. Together, they form the hallmark “four-leaf clover” lighting arrangement. 

The front section features an over-sized front bumper with a striking silver skid plate in the middle. Another eye-catching feature at the rear of the Yeti 4x4 Outdoor is the area around the number plate, where the body is moulded into triangular sections. 

The Yeti 4x4 Outdoor’s side protection mouldings, door sills and both bumpers are black, clearly expressing their protective and design function. An additional stylish characteristic is the silver-painted side mirrors.

The electrically sliding front panel of the optional panoramic sunroof provides a sense of space and freedom. The front section can also be tipped for interior ventilation. At the touch of a button, a blind covers the whole of the panoramic sunroof, preventing the interior from overheating on hot summer days.

The three separate rear seats offer variable layouts. Each can be arranged separately and the angle of each backrest is adjustable. The outer seats can slide backwards and forwards. The middle seat can be removed and the outer seats can be moved towards the centre, creating exceptional amounts of extra room for two rear passengers.

The luggage compartment fixing system with horizontal strips and adjustable hooks offer multiple arrangement options, perfect for hanging shopping bags, large luggage or securing small items.
