All the way from the small interior touches of bag hooks to stop your shopping moving around, to the advanced technology of headlamps that recognise when you are driving around corners.

Clever design throughout the interior of the New Superb 4x4 and Octavia Scout 4x4 provides numerous places for storing sundry items.

NEW SUPERB 4x4

The new Superb features a multitude of compartments, pockets and holders, keeping your elegant interior tidy and your belongings safe.

The tablet holder enables you to securely fit your device to the rear armrest or the front seat headrest, which will keep rear passengers entertained throughout any journey.

A unique novelty on all Superb are the two original Superb Umbrellas, situated inside both front doors. The compartments are designed so that the water from the wet umbrella flows away from the car, keeping the interior dry.

4x4 Technology

The Octavia Scout 4x4 and Superb 4x4 feature all-wheel drive technology, including the latest generation, electronically-controlled, multi-plate 4x4 clutch that adjusts to changing road conditions in milliseconds. And with underbody protection and elevated ground clearance as standard, the Octavia Scout 4x4 is able to tackle challenging conditions – an everyday car that demands to be driven everywhere. One look at the Octavia Scout 4x4 and it becomes clear it is a family car built for all seasons.

Satellite Navigation

The car stereo, Columbus Navigation System and trip computer are housed in one system that gives the driver access to the vehicle setup, Driver Assist Systems and comfort functions through a single device. The proximity sensor recognises when a hand is moving towards the touchscreen and brings up the function buttons ready to be used, while intuitive swiping and pinching movements allow the user to scroll menus and zoom into maps easily.

Columbus Navigation System also features SmartLink - delivering a seamless connection between car and smartphone using Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. SmartLink enables you to control compatible apps from the infotainment display, whether it be listening to music on the smartphone connected or receive turn-by-turn directions; all of this is mirrored on Columbus display.

The New Superb 4x4 uses unique 19" Phoenix Anthracite alloy wheels that complement the rugged and sporty design of the 4x4 206TSI Superb Variant (pictured left).

The Octavia Scout 4x4 features 17” Nivalis anthracite wheels (pictured right).

Rear View Camera

The rear-view camera automatically activated when reverse gear is engaged. Combined exclusively with the advanced infotainment units, the system uses their displays to show the space behind the car and to indicate the driving line, based on the vehicle width. The camera is always supplied with parking sensors and can be combined with the second-generation Automatic Parking Assist (included in the Tech Pack).

Safety Our engineers have kitted out the new Superb with the very latest in smart protection technology, supporting the driver in all kinds of traffic situations, whether you need to maintain a safe distance, stay in lane, or even emergency brake to avert an impending collision.

The range of features for EU countries includes Front Assist with City Emergency Brake*, Fatigue Detection*, Passenger Protect Assist, Electronic Stabilisation Control (ESC), including a multi-collision brake, the XDS+ electronic differential lock, and electronic tyre pressure monitoring as standard. The ŠKODA Superb can now feature a whole range of new safety assists, such as Side Assist (Blind Spot Detection), Rear Traffic Alert, Lane Assist and Emergency Assist.

Spaciousness Enjoy luxurious legroom in the front and back of the Superb Wagon, which, boasting the largest interior space in its class, lets your passengers travel in comfort. Rear headroom (1,001mm) sets the bar even higher.

The boot capacity is another impressive feature, offering 660 litres – one of the largest in its segment. Folding down the rear seats increases the boot capacity to an extraordinary 1,950 litres.

Connectivity

Connectivity Your car and smartphone are now in perfect sync. The SmartLink system delivers a seamless connection between your car and smartphone using Apple CarPlay and Android Auto interfaces.

Whether you want to select and listen to music on your smartphone or receive turn-by-turn directions, all of this is mirrored on the 8" touch screen Columbus display.

Advanced Safety Features

Like the Octavia range, safety is paramount for the Octavia Scout 4x4 with nine airbags, fatigue detection and passenger protect assist as standard across all variants.

Add Passenger Protect Assist uses information from the car's braking and electronic systems to recognise when there is a high chance of collision. If this is detected, the front seat belts will tighten and the sunroof (if equipped) and windows will close to help keep the car's occupants in the optimum position for airbag deployment and reduce  items flying into the car.
